Interview Summary

Local small business owner, Sandra Reid, discusses growing up in a Scottish family in Lexington, KY and the ways in which she has celebrated her heritage. Her involvement as the Pipe Major of the William Sutherland Reid Pipes and Drums is discussed, as well as her experience in making and selling kilts in her sewing center. The latter portion of the interview is devoted to her thoughts about her father's 1985 interview with Arthur Graham, which is archived in the Louie B. Nunn Center for Oral History's "Ethnicity in Lexington" collection.
