Walter Darlington "Dee" Huddleston was a Democratic senator from Kentucky who served in the U.S. Senate from 1973 until 1985. Huddleston was born in Cumberland County, Kentucky, the son of a Methodist minister. In this interview, Huddleston and Birdwhistell discuss Huddleston's career in the United States Senate, his experience on the Senate Intelligence Committee, Kentucky politics and politicians, Freedom of Information, and political campaigning and fundraising.Interview Accession
