Interview Summary

Gary Napier, a farmer living on Cane Creek, starts the interview by recounting aspects of his childhood including relatives, and the types of jobs that his father had. The changing dynamics of farming labor in the area are also discussed. The role of Napier's mother on the farm is briefly mentioned as well. Next, Napier lists all of the jobs he has had throughout the years. Napier's wife, children, and the educational system are then discussed. Napier also emphasizes the importance of farming in his life, and the various homes he has lived in. An outline of the interviewee's childhood home is given, along with one of his grandmother's houses. Lastly, more details of Napier's childhood are listed, as well as his relationship with his family currently.
