Interview Summary
Curtis B. Hill was born in Madison County, Kentucky on October 5, 1921. He served in the United States Army Air Force during World War II. Hill was drafted into the military in 1942 after the attack on Pearl Harbor. He talks about his training and being a tail gunner during the war. Hill was shot down and captured and discusses his experiences in a prison camp, Stalag XVII-B in Austria.Interview Accession
