Interview Summary

In this interview, Judith Moffett discusses background information about "The Bird Shaman" and writers and themes in science fiction literature. She talks about beginning writing poetry again in 2000 with the first poem being "Sinkhole," written on the farm in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky. Moffett describes visiting Swarthmore, Pennsylvania and buying a house there as a permanent residence. She also talks about returning tot he farm in Lawrenceburg in the summer and writing three more poems, "Anasazi Frost," "Wholeness," and "The Rime of Poor William and the Recluse."
