Interview Summary
In this second interview, Robertson continues to share stories from his childhood, discussing Saddlebred horse-shows and horsemen including George Gwinn and his father, Jim B. Robertson. He speaks about the details of running an auction, as a bid spotter and also as an auctioneer. Robertson describes his position as president of Fasig-Tipton, organizing horse sales and selecting horses for sale. He also talks about the purchase of Fasig-Tipton by Synergy Investments Ltd., a Dubai-based company, and reflects on what this new ownership could mean for the future of the company as well as the horse business.Interview Accession
