Interview Summary
Sarah Houston was born Sarah Ballew in St. Louis, Missouri, where she grew up. She has relocated to Paducah, Kentucky since her mother moved to Paducah in 2014 to take care of Houston’s grandparents. She has four children with her husband. Houston grew up in a Jewish household that became dedicated to the Orthodox tradition when she was in middle school. Her mother converted to Judaism. Houston has dedicated herself to raising her children in the Jewish tradition while also going back to school for nursing and her master’s degree.Interview Accession
