Interview Summary
In this interview with Mrs. John Faulkner, Henry Faulkner's sister-in-law, and family friend Donna Bible, the two talk about the Faulkner family of Harlan County, Kentucky. They talk about Henry Faulkner's early life and his education, including a scholarship to the University of Louisville and a Guggenheim Fellowship. They then talk about the family's penchant for writing poetry.The interview also moves on to talk about Henry Faulkner's parents and two of his siblings, James and Joe. It ends with a brief discussion about Henry Faulkner's sexuality.
