Interview Summary
Charles G. Talbert talks about his childhood on a farm in Carlisle, Kentucky and his early education there. He talks about his decision to attend the University of Kentucky and his life as a student there during the Great Depression. He talks about the courses he took, his professors, UK President Frank McVey and his wife Frances Jewell McVey, and other college administrators.
