Interview Summary

In this interview, Mark Kellen discusses the history of Audubon State Park in Henderson, Kentucky. Kellen describes the work of local librarian Susan Towles' efforts to obtain support for the park in the 1930s from federal/state governments. Also discussed is the importance of the Civilian Conservation Corps and the evolution of the park to its current state as the number one tourism site in the Evansville, Indiana/Henderson, Kentucky area.
