Interview Summary
Nancy Stills was a Volunteer in Kenya in 2003 in Small Business Development and Conservation; the East Caribbean in 2007 in Climate Change and Disaster Risk Reduction. Then in 2008 she served in the West Indies in Disaster Risk Reduction. She left for her first term of service when she was 55 years-old and her parents did not want to go! She ultimately served three times. In Kenya she worked in Marialal with the Samburu people and assisted with bee keeping, butterfly farming and animal conservation. In the Arabuko Sokoke forest Nancy also helped with wildlife conservation. In the East Caribbean and West Indies she helped provide training and gear for disaster management and risk reduction.Interview Accession
