Interview Summary

J. W. Reynolds was born in the Stamping Ground area and spent most of his life there. In this interview, he talks about his long family history in the area and also tells stories about the general history of Stamping Ground including a story about a bank robbery. He talks about his long and varied career, including his ownership of a grocery store, a taxi business, a car dealership, a clothing store, and truck driving. He talks about the day of the Stamping Ground tornado in 1974, the cleanup afterward, and its effect on the community.
