Interview Summary

Wheeler and James were key figures in the Pikeville Methodist Hospital strike. Despite facing adversity on the picket line, the duo fought against injustice within the Methodist Hospital. The two women go into vivid detail about their lives in Pikeville during the Methodist Hospital strike. Ultimately, the Methodist Hospital strike made a lasting impact on James and Wheeler.
