Interview Summary
Allan Reed served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Education in Ethiopia from 1966 to 1968. He began training as the only graduate student in the Advanced Training Group at UCLA while working as a PC recruiter on campus. He worked in several schools on the border with Sudan and became involved in work with Sudanese dissidents during his time in Peace Corps, work which he continued afterwards. Subsequently he served for over 40 years with USAID in at least 14 different countries.Interview Accession
