Interview Summary
Martha Kulsveen and Alice Heaton, the daughters of Thompson Willett (the original owner of Willett Distilling Company), discuss growing up with a large family and working in the distillery from a very young age. They also talk about their relationships with other members of their family and the values and customs that became a large part of their lives from day one. They tell stories about their siblings and parents, including how their father complimented their mother until the day he died, as well as the time one of their brothers received ashes for Christmas.Interview Accession
