Interview Summary

Mary Lou Brown was born in Magoffin County, KY, she lived in Hall during the later years of her life. She and her husband had lived in California; he was a trapper and Mary Lou ran a restaurant, "Mary Lou's Old Kentucky Kitchen." They also lived in Georgia where Mary Lou was a newspaper editor, and for a brief period the couple lived in Oregon. Mary Lou moved to Hall in 1987.
