Interview Summary

Rebecca Roach's (Liberia, 1987-1988; Education Program) interview includes extensive reflections on impact of Peace Corps on herself and her teaching and her children. She discusses being part of a teacher training program as a Peace Corps volunteer in Liberia and being principal of a Catholic primary school in her second year. She also talks about how after working in Pakistan, Cambodia, and Thailand, with World Bank and Save the Children, she returned to eastern Kentucky to teach elementary school and work on her doctorate.
