Interview Summary

Burke discusses her thoughts about PRIDE in Rockcastle County and the rest of Kentucky, as well as her role as PRIDE coordinator. She describes why Kentucky needs the PRIDE program so badly and what impact it has had on the county. She discusses why she likes the program, mentioning both the environmental cleanup and the positive social interactions that come from volunteers working together on cleanup efforts. She also discusses the issues with recruiting volunteers in her experience.
