Dr. Jon Hesseldenz, the former vice president for information technology, discussed his education; his service with the UK Community College System; his transition to KCTCS after the 1997 passage of the Kentucky Postsecondary Education Act; the unification of technology systems among the disparate colleges and technical schools; the rapidity with which those systems were implemented and the challenges and benefits of doing so; his relationship with Dr. Michael B. McCall and his feelings about McCall?s tenure as KCTCS president and his legacy; and his personal decision to retire and his life in retirement.Interview Accession
