Interview Summary

Harry N. Sykes, who was a very good student of math, gives a broad overview of his family life, the move up north from Mississippi, and his education and basketball scholarship at Kentucky State University. He also talks about his basketball playing career and the transition from ball player to success as a coach and educator. He gives some detail of his business venture with the bowling alley for African Americans, and the move from business to politics and human rights activism.
