Interview Summary
This interview with professor Ahmad Rafique begins with a discussion on the nationalization of universities in Pakistan. Rafique also talks about his family background, including descriptions of Lahore (Pakistan) and his education. He then goes on to discuss his early memories of the Pakistan movement, beginning in 1940. Rafique then moves on to talk about the refugees that flooded the city of Lahore (Pakistan) after the creation of Pakistan. He discusses his views regarding when the history of Pakistan begins. Rafique also talks about who, in his view, is responsible for the creation of Pakistan. He ends the interview by talking about the memorial he wishes to receive and the fulfillment of Pakistan's potential.Interview Accession
