Interview Summary

In this interview, Ralph Stine who served with Company D, 192nd Tank Battalion, discusses action in the Philippines. He describes the bombing of Clark Field, deaths of fellow soldiers, and falling back in the face of Japanese attack. Stine talks about being captured in the hospital, the forced march to Manilla, and the train voyage to Cabantuan No. 2. He also discusses working on an airfield, the ship voyage to Formosa, and work details. In addition, he talks about burial details at Cabantuan and liberation by Americans.
