Interview Summary
Pam Oldfield Meade discusses growing up in Morgan County, being influenced by nature and wanting to be an artist, studying at the University of Kentucky and then with artist Helen Price Stacy. She talks about working with the Kentucky Arts Council and Foothills Artists, and the Wolfe County Arts / Appalachian Heritage Alliance, opening a local store for local products, arts, and crafts (Appalachian Co-op Gallery). She also discusses collaborations with Whitesburg artists, Appalshop, Artwalk, and Summit City.Interview Accession
