Project Summary

The Dinsmore Estate, located in Boone County, Kentucky, was originally purchased in 1839 by James Dinsmore. Today the estate consists of about thirty acres of land and a historic home containing Dinsmore family history, including journals and letters. This project focuses on how the home operated in the early 20th century, what life was like in this area, and various people associated with the Dinsmore Homestead.
