Interview Summary

Joe Bologna discusses his Italian heritage and his genealogy. He talks about growing up in Detroit, Michigan and how he came to open his own restaurant in Lexington, Kentucky. He talks about the influence of the Catholic Church in the lives of Italians and Italian Americans. During the interview Bologna and Tom Ocelli discuss the Italian Heritage Society in Lexington, their roles within the group, and the activities of the organization.
