Interview Summary
Crystal Wilkinson begins the interview by talking about the Poetry in the Park event in Lexington, and her experience of teaching at the Kentucky Governor's School for the Arts. Wilkinson's writing process and habits are then discussed at length. The interviewee's friendship with writers from Appalachia, her views on creative writing from a teacher's perspective, and her literary inspirations are also considered.
