Interview Summary

A 1968 graduate of Henry Clay High School, Mr. Rashid discusses the black Muslim movement and its philosophy, his conversion to the religion in 1975, the American Muslim Mission of Lexington, and the community's perception of the black Muslim movement. He recalls the effects of integration upon the schools and the establishment of the Black Student Union at the University of Kentucky.
