Interview Summary
Father Ralph W. Beiting, a Catholic priest and part of the Christian Appalachian Project (CAP), "street preaches" to a crowd in Louisa, Kentucky. He discusses the importance of Christianity and belief in God to the founding of the United States and the state of Kentucky. Fr. Beiting details his Kentucky and Catholic heritage and why he is a Catholic. He also talks about religious freedom and American politics, particularly abortion. He encourages the community of Louisa to embrace differences and promote equality through faith in God. Fr. Beiting tells the audience of his future plans for the community of Louisa through CAP.
