In this interview, Lon Rogers talks about his family history, the Roger's family coal mining in Pike and Muhlenburg counties, and the Depression. He also discusses the First Presbyterian Church of Pikeville, being a member of the Board of National Mission of the Presbyterian Church (UPUSA), Pikeville College, Sandy State Park, development of Highway 80, being appointed to Art's Commission by Governor Edward (Ned) Brethitt, moving to Lexington and joining the Second Presbyterian Church.Interview Accession
