Interview Summary
At the time of this interview, Zach Sippy was a high school student in Lexington, Kentucky. In this interview, he discusses his family history and Jewish background. He talks about the various places he has lived throughout his life, including Minnesota, California, and Kentucky, and compares them in terms of diversity and opportunities to participate in Jewish culture. He talks about how being the son of a rabbi has affected him and his family life. He compares various synagogues and temples he has attended throughout his life, including his participation in Temple Adath Israel in Lexington. He talks about his public school education, his Jewish school education, and the process of being Bar Mitzvahed. He discusses experiences with anti-Semitism, political activism, and his work to promote social and religious inclusion.Interview Accession
