Interview Summary

Al Lopez is the son of immigrants from Spain, who lived in Cuba and later moved to Florida where he was born. Al was a catcher and manager in Major League Baseball. His nickname is "El Senor." In this interview, he talks about the Mexican League, Robert Murphy's failed attempt to unionize baseball players, his career playing for the Pittsburgh Pirates and Cleveland Indians, his teammates for the Pirates, and his career as a manager.
