Interview Summary
The first of a series of six interviews with Col. Sager. In this interview, Col. Sager talks about going to Cornell's veterinary school, his time in the U.S. Army's remount service, and his eventual role as the resident veterinarian at Claiborne Farm (Paris, Ky.). He addresses issues such as women in veterinary school, "bute" neck in racetrack horses, and the perceived shift from practical to research-based education in veterinary schools.
