Interview Summary
Albert Riley was born in Knott County, Kentucky on March 8, 1929. Riley was drafted into the military in 1952 and served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War. He talks about his experiences at basic and advanced training and being on the front lines in Korea. He discusses being wounded during the war and receiving the Purple Heart for his service. He displays several photographs of himself taken during his time in the military and the medals and ribbons he received for his service.Interview Accession
