Interview Summary
Ann McElroy, a medical anthropologist and published textbook author, discusses her family history, her anthropological education, and her accomplishments within her career. She also talks about the Society for Applied Anthropology and the positions that she held within the organization, as well as other organizations that she is a part of and how they compared to the SFAA. Her students are also a large topic of discussion as she is now teaching in the University of Buffalo's Department of Anthropology alongside the interviewer.Interview Accession
