Project Summary

This collection explores the history of women in Kentucky throughout the 1900s. Interviewees discuss many issues, such as the various social roles of women, women's rights, family life and history, and racial and gender discrimination. This project also focuses specifically on women at UK and their roles as administrators, department directors, and professors.
