Interview Summary

Born in 2001 in Richboro, PA, Alex is currently a third-year student at West Chester University dual-majoring in History and Marketing. Alex grew up in a tight-knit family with his two parents, older brother, and younger sister. During his freshman year of college, Covid-19 struck the US in March of 2020. Consequently, Alex was sent home with the good news of an extra two weeks of spring break that quickly turned into a year and a half of online schooling. Looking back on these past two years dealing with a global pandemic and the rise of different social and activism movements, Alex reflects on his world as a young man in college trying to thrive within his education while also staying safe.
