Interview Summary
Page describes Foothills Academy, a boys home located in Clinton County. He describes what the academy aims to do and how it helps its students in regard to counseling, education, and work. He discusses how the academy was established and how he came to be involved with Judge Jeff Choate, who established the academy alongside Page. Page describes the boys' experiences at the academy, detailing anecdotes of specific students who have been able to turn their lives around. He describes the efforts they make to help the students get sober and how the training they provide helps students to change their values. He discusses the partnerships that Foothills Academy has throughout Kentucky and how that helps their operation. Page also describes how PRIDE has helped the academy and how their education grant system helps keep the academy running well.Interview Accession
