Interview Summary

Donnermeyer (House 1970-1994, 68th district; Democrat) discusses in more detail his time in the legislature including his opinions of several governors, fellow legislators, the Northern Kentucky regional caucus, the need for transparency in the legislature, and key legislation on the coal severance tax, abortion, the homeless, and gubernatorial succession. He also covers his political philosophy, leadership role as Chair of the House majority caucus, the BOPTROT scandal, and how his district and the legislature have evolved. Part 2 of 2.
