Interview Summary
Artemus Campbell talks about his childhood in Appalachia and his career in the mining industry. He talks about working when the United Mine Workers of America unionized the mines. He discusses the Frontier Nursing Service, how they differed from the local midwives, and whether they were accepted by the local community.
