Interview Summary
Caleb Wilburn Caldwell, Jr. is the son of Caleb Wilburn Caldwell, Sr., an African American horse groom. Caldwell, Jr. followed in his father's footsteps by becoming a truck driver transporting horses across the country. Caldwell Jr.'s own son, Caleb Caldwell, III, also continued the family tradition. In this interview, Caleb Caldwell, Jr. and Caleb Caldwell, III discuss their family history with horses, the life lessons they learned from working in the horse industry, and tell stories of their most memorable moments with horses.Interview Accession
