Interview Summary
Coleman L. McGuire was born in Louisville, Kentucky on November 24, 1921. He served in the United States Navy on Boat Pool 11 during World War II. He talks about his training at Midshipmen's School and his journey to Bougainville Island in the Solomon Islands in Papua New Guinea. McGuire talks about his experiences on the island and shows various pictures of the island, ships, and himself during his deployment.Interview Accession
