Morgan C. Atkinson Documentary Interviews: A Pain in the Innards
Project Summary
Morgan C. Atkinson Documentary Interviews: A Pain in the Innards is a documentary that aired on KET in 1996 and focused on the Standard Gravure shooting that occurred in 1989. It remains the worst workplace shooting in Kentucky's history, with a death toll of 8 and 12 wounded. Interviews include two survivors, the Mayor of Louisville, the medical team that treated the wounded, counsellors who worked with survivors, and the journalist who wrote an in-depth story about the perpetrators. The vast majority of these interviews did not appear in the documentary, but all together, they provide a comprehensive accounting of this tragedy.Project Code
