Interview Summary
Turner describes the efforts in regard to environmental cleanup in Owsley County and how PRIDE has positively impacted their efforts. He discusses how they have been able to clean up fourteen dumps in one year, as well as what their future plans are. He describes what he thinks should be the enforcement mechanisms for catching those who are dumping illegally or littering, and he discusses the surveillance techniques used by the county to catch offenders. Turner also briefly discusses real estate in the county and how it is affected by garbage.Interview Accession
