Interview Summary
McCoy describes his childhood home and the surrounding farm in detail. He discusses the smokehouse and cellar at his childhood home and how his family would use each of them to store and preserve food. McCoy then describes the farming methods he uses on his tobacco farm, as well as in his garden. McCoy goes on to describe the house he was born in, the community he grew up in, how farming has changed since he was young, as well as how he feels about foreign and corporate competition in agriculture.Interview Accession
