Interview Summary
Justin Prather joined the Army in October 2004 where he toured in both Iraq and Afghanistan as an Aviation Operations Specialist. In this interview, Prather highlights the differences between life on an Army base in Iraq and Afghanistan. He describes his role in the mission which killed the terrorist leader al-Zarqawi, as well as his work with the U.S. Special Forces. Additionally, Prather discusses the transition back to civilian life and his pursuit of higher education.Interview Accession
