Interview Summary
Karin Krein describes her growing up and schooling in South Africa, her career as a pharmacist, her marriage and family. She was recruited by Rite Aid and took a job in Richmond, Kentucky so she and her husband and three children, 12, 10, and 8 came to the U.S. in 2005. She describes the good and difficult experiences of adjustment for her and her family and explains what she values about America, especially for her children's future. In 2016 both she and her husband work at the University of Kentucky where she is the Pharmacy Director Associate of the Ambulatory Pharmacy Services Department.Interview Accession
