Interview Summary
Carla Carlton is an editor, journalist, author, blogger, and bourbon lover. In this interview she talks about her childhood in Louisville, Kentucky and her grandmother working in the bourbon industry. She explains her personal experience with bourbon in college after growing up in a teetotaler household. She talks about her college education and working at the Louisville Courier-Journal for almost 20 years, being the Editor in Chief for Bourbon + Magazine, Director of Executive and Advancement Communications at Bellarmine University, and being a member of Bourbon Women. She explains why and how she wrote the book "Barrel Strength Bourbon," the e-book "Still Life," and her blog "The Bourbon Babe."
