Interview Summary
Travis Martin served in the Army and did two tours to Iraq during Operation: Iraqi Freedom. In this interview, Martin talks about his upbringing and what propelled him into the Army. He talks about being stationed in Germany and being deployed to Iraq. Martin describes some of the problems he has faced in result of his two combat deployments. Martin discusses some of the issues that veterans face when transitioning to the civilian world and to college life. He also talks about the EKU Veterans organization started at Eastern Kentucky University during his time there.Interview Accession
