Interview with Bayless Manning, May 14, 1981

Interview Summary

Bayless Manning clerked for Justice Reed from 1949 to 1950. At the beginning of his interview, he recalls Reed's talks about Kentucky. Next, he describes Reed's relationships with Chief Justice Fred Vinson and Justice Felix Frankfurter.
