Interview Summary
Deborah Kimm was interviewed by Trudi-Ann Lawrence on September 3, 2013. The interview took place at the Bayshore Senior Center. Deborah has lived in her home in Keansburg for fifty years.When Sandy hit, Deborah had already evacuated with a family friend to Toms River to wait out the storm. When she returned to her house two or three days later, Deborah found an incredible team spirit in the community. She said her refrigerator had fallen over and things in the house floated everywhere. There was even a bicycle in her neighbor's tree.
